April Salon Tip

This month we challenge you to support salons that are proactive in your community and leaders as beauty makers. Those were our goals when we opened our salon over 5 years ago. Recently, March '08 we worked with Saratoga Springs High School and help raise over $1000 for those who may not be able to afford proper prom attire and April '08 we were proud to announce that Brooklyn Attitude Hair & Body has been voted one of the Top 100 Hot Salons in America by Salon City magazine. A compilation of top-notch salons including New York City's Warren Tricomi, Frederic Fekkai, Garren and John Sahag are also listed in the 1st Anniversary Issue which can be found in newsstands and bookstores across the USA and in over 30 Countries.

The voting was based on the popularity within their city, peer recognition within the salon industry, the expertise of trained stylists who are devoted to bringing out the best in you and your hair. And, of course, it?s the star talent who know how to make you look, and feel like a star.

In just 5 years as salon owners MaryAnn and Glenn have put Saratoga on the map for hair designing and once known for horses, history and health, Saratoga is now known for Horses, History, Health and HAIR!!!

March Salon Tip

This month I want to share with you the difference and importance in using a good flat iron. Flats irons have been around for over a decade and up until a few years ago their ironing pads consisted of a metal like substance. Your hair may have looked good but the hot metal ironing pads were damaging your hair.
