In 1994 MaryAnn and Glenn moved from Brooklyn to Saratoga. They worked in local salons building a clientele base due to their experience, creativity, personality and their commitment towards education and innovation.

When they opened their unique Brooklyn themed salon in Saratoga Springs (July 1, 2003) they became the first modern and innovative salon in the area. Replica subway signs reading Brooklyn Attitude Hair & Body canvas the inside walls and reception desk. Standing tall as you enter the salon you will find custom made styling stations resembling the steel beams found on subway platforms. Surrounding the styling stations are large wall murals of the Brooklyn Bridge, Coney Island and the Statue of Liberty.

Brooklyn Attitude Puts Saratoga on the Map for Hair Designing: MaryAnn and Glenn have worked some of the top hair shows across the country. Their salon's name, work and reputation has spread world wide. Brooklyn Attitude became the first New York State salon outside of NYC to be voted "One of the Top Hot 100 Salons in America" by Salon City Magazine 2008. Included on the Top Hot 100 Salon list were noted NYC salons such as Warren Tricomi, Frederic Fekkai, Garren and John Sahag.

September 1, 2009 "Rock meets Attitude": MaryAnn and Glenn worked in the Backstage Artists Lounge at SPAC styling hair for the concert Crue Fest 2 starring Motley Crue with Godsmack, Theory of a Deadman, Drowning Pool and introducing Charm City Devils, Rev Theory, Cavo, 16 Second Stare and Shram.

MaryAnn & Glenn have been trained by some of the top hairstylists in the world; Frederic Fekkai, Michael O'Rourke (Sexy Hair), Nick Arrojo (TLC'S "What not to Wear"), Martin Parson's, Oscar Bond, Yosh Toya, Mark Garrison and many others.

Brooklyn Attitude are leaders in their community: In 2004 they became the 1st salon in Saratoga to be nominated for the prestigious Global Salon Business Award and Salon Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The award recognizes excellence in the industry, for salon entrepreneurs. They have done hair and make-up for a segment of 48 Hours, a CBS broadcasted show. They have sponsored fund raisers for those affected by Hurricane Katrina, the Women's Shelters of Saratoga and offered their services to benefit Lend a Hand Program which assists students with limited financial resources within the Saratoga school district. Brooklyn Attitude has also joined the list of salons donating clean cut hair for the Gulf Oil Spill.

MaryAnn and Glenn have 12 cats and a dog named "Brooklyn" (Click Here for Photo of Marilyn "Brooklyn" Monroe).. Because of their fondness for animals they have sponsored a cat/kitten adoption reward program with their Veterinarian and have raised funds for Adirondack-Save-a-Stray.
