| Brooklyn Attitude has moved their location to 135 Ballston Avenue still in Saratoga Springs and a few doors down from TAFT Furniture in the Plaza
In 1995 MaryAnn and Glenn moved from Brooklyn to Saratoga. They worked in local salons building a clientele base due to their experience, creativity, personality and their commitment towards education.
When they opened Brooklyn Attitude Hair & Body in Saratoga Springs (July 2003) they became the first innovative salon in the area. They also wanted their salon to look different so they designed it with a unique Brooklyn theme. Replica subway signs reading Brooklyn Attitude Hair & Body canvas the outside walls and reception desk. Standing tall as you enter the salon you will find custom made styling stations resembling the steel beams found on subway platforms. Surrounding the styling stations are large wall murals of the Brooklyn Bridge, Coney Island and the Statue of Liberty and a separate shampoo area featuring backwash stations imported from Italy.
MaryAnn and Glenn are the areas first and only Certified Media Artists (MAG) and Contributing Media Artists for Salon City magazine. (Click Here for Photo Gallery). They have worked some of the top hair shows across the country and their salon's name, work and reputation has spread world wide. For the third time in a row Brooklyn Attitude Hair and Body has been voted "One of the Top Hot 100 Salons in America" by Salon City Magazine. The list was featured last Spring in Salon City Magazine with Brooklyn Attitude ranking # 96, followed by a Winter ranking of # 95 and this Summer's Issue Ranking of #94. There are up to 250,000 Salons in America and on the list only 5 salons from New York State. Brooklyn Attitude is the only salon outside of New York City to been recognized with this distinctive honor. The list include other top-notch New York salons such as Warren Tricomi, Frederic Fekkai, Garren and John Sahag. Salon City rates its Top Hot 100 Salons by media artistry, popularity with their clients, community, peers, industry and of course their talented skills.
